The two locations participants will need to find their way to
Largo de São Francisco, 95 · Centro Histórico, São Paulo
The Historical Building of the Faculty of Law hosts the Opening Session, all keynotes by John Donohue and Fabiana Rocha, the three plenary panels (Mesas 1, 2 and 3), and all parallel scientific sessions and special sessions. Conference rooms are within a very short walk of each other inside the building.
Metro · São Bento (Linha 1, blue) is the closest stop, roughly 5 minutes on foot. Sé (Linha 1, blue and Linha 3, red) is also within walking distance.
Taxi or rideshare · Set the destination to "Faculdade de Direito da USP, Largo de São Francisco".
Auditório Steffi e Max Perlman · Rua Uberabinha, s/n, Vila Olímpia, São Paulo
The closing keynote address by Adam Chilton, on the evening of June 10, takes place at the Auditório Steffi e Max Perlman, on the ground floor of Insper. This is the only conference activity outside the Faculty of Law.
Metro · Vila Olímpia (Linha 4, yellow) is within a short walk of the Insper campus.
From the Faculty of Law · The trip normally takes between 30 and 50 minutes by car, depending on traffic. Participants are advised to leave during the transit window scheduled between 16:30 and 18:00 on June 10.
A single corridor that keeps participants close to everything
The conference recommends concentrating accommodation in the Paraíso-Paulista corridor, an established residential and hotel area along Avenida Paulista and the Vila Mariana side of the Linha 1 metro line. Several practical reasons converge on this choice.
The corridor sits directly on the Linha 1 (blue), which connects participants to the Faculty of Law in roughly fifteen minutes via São Bento or Sé station. Indeed, the same line at Paraíso connects to Linha 5 (lilac) at Jabaquara, which is the most direct route to Insper for the closing keynote on June 10. The Gala Dinner on June 8 is also nearby, namely at D'Brescia, on Rua Pedro Ivo, a short walk from most of the listed hotels.
Avenida Paulista and Parque Ibirapuera are within walking or short metro distance, which gives international participants easy access to the cultural and gastronomic landmarks visitors typically associate with São Paulo. The area is also well covered by taxis and rideshare services at all hours.
The links below point to Booking.com as a convenient way to view photos, room types and details. Participants are free to book through any platform of their choice.
The conference reached out to several of the listed properties to negotiate dedicated rates. It became clear, however, that any discount obtainable through a corporate channel would not exceed the prices already available on the major platforms. The recommendation is therefore to compare directly across platforms and book the best available rate.
The organization is preparing a shuttle and supplementary transportation service to assist participants moving between the hotel area, the Faculty of Law, the Gala Dinner, and Insper on the day of the closing keynote. Routes, schedules, and registration details will be circulated to confirmed participants closer to the event.

The Paraíso-Paulista corridor is dense in restaurants and cafés, ranging from quick stand-up counters to sit-down kitchens. The selection below sits within a short walk of the recommended hotels and is suitable for the start and the end of the day. Worth noting also that D'Brescia, on Rua Pedro Ivo, hosts the Gala Dinner on June 8 and lies in the same cluster.
For lunch on conference days and evening exploration in the historic center
The Faculty of Law sits in the historic center of São Paulo, a dense and walkable area with a wide range of options for lunch on conference days. The selection below combines classic addresses near Largo de São Francisco with cultural venues that pair dinner with live music and a few well-known tables in the República neighborhood, all within a reasonable walk or short metro ride from the venue.
Public transport, rideshare and the planned conference shuttle
The Linha 1 (blue) of the São Paulo metro is the main spine connecting the recommended hotel area to the Faculty of Law. The trip from Paraíso or Brigadeiro to São Bento is roughly 15 minutes, with trains running approximately every three to five minutes during the day.
Rideshare services (Uber, 99) operate at all hours throughout the corridor and are reliable for short hops. For the closing keynote at Insper on the evening of June 10, rideshare or the Linha 1 to Linha 5 connection at Jabaquara are both viable.
The conference is preparing a shuttle and supplementary transportation service to support participant movement between the recommended hotel area and the Faculty of Law during conference days, as well as to and from Insper for the closing keynote and the Gala Dinner. Routes, schedules, and access details will be circulated to confirmed participants closer to the event.
