Conference Schedule

CELS Global Brazil 2026

held jointly with the VI Congresso Brasileiro de Direito e Políticas Públicas

June 8–10, 2026 · Faculty of Law, University of São Paulo

Venue at a Glance

A single building, all rooms within steps of each other

All conference activities take place at the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo, in its Historical Building at Largo de São Francisco, 95. The only exception is the closing keynote by Adam Chilton, hosted at Insper.

The Historical Building was designed so that every conference room sits within a very short walk of the others. Most are adjacent, sharing the same hallway on each floor. Participants moving between sessions need only step out of one room and enter the next.

Ground Floor

Reception & Assembly

  • Sala Goffredo da Silva Telles Jr. Registration desk and first point of contact for badge issues, last-minute logistics, and general inquiries. The conference team works from this ample auditorium throughout the event. On June 10 it hosts the RedeDPP General Assembly (11:15–12:15) and the RBECrim Special Session (15:00–16:30).
  • Sala do Júri Smaller supporting room, immediately adjacent, where the General Secretariat is based. Participants may be directed here from the Goffredo desk when an issue calls for specialized handling.
First Floor

Plenary & Special Sessions

  • Salão Nobre Main Hall. Hosts the Opening Session, the keynotes by John Donohue and Fabiana Rocha, and all plenary panels (Mesas 1, 2, and 3).
  • Auditório Ruy Barbosa Nogueira Hosts the Special Sessions in slots S1 through S4: the SELS Special Session, the Instituto CELS Latinoamérica Session, and the two RedeDPP Special Sessions. The RBECrim Special Session, concurrent with the CELS Latinoamérica Session in slot S4, takes place at the Sala Goffredo da Silva Telles Jr. on the ground floor.
  • Sala Visconde de São Leopoldo Hosts the launch of the Coleção DPP on June 8.
Second & Third Floors

Parallel Scientific Sessions

  • Adjacent rooms in a single hallway on each floor Hosts all parallel scientific sessions, namely the Relatos de Pesquisa and the CELS Scientific Sessions in slots S1 through S4.
  • Same-corridor layout On each floor the rooms open onto a single corridor. Participants checking the final program will find the assigned room a few steps from any other parallel session running at the same time.
